How to Use Nesting Box Herbs
- Sprinkle 1 TBS – 1/4 CUP into each nesting box on a weekly basis. Recommend to begin with 1 TBS and gradually increase, until desired effects.
- For mite or lice infestations, thoroughly clean nesting boxes and use 1/4 CUP of 9 Herb Nesting Box Blend. Sprinkle throughout each nesting box. Make sure to get into the corners. This is where mites and lice like to hide.
- Sprinkle 1/4 CUP into the chicken dust bathing area on a weekly basis. This will help to kill unwanted parasites and encourage dust bathing.
- This can also be used in chicken runs. For larger runs, it’s ok to use more. Remember, a little goes a long way!
